Well that snow caught me out! I had no idea that was on it’s way. I had squirrelled myself away at Floral Rebellion HQ, bad news dear reader, I had the lurgy. I hate being ill, it makes me feel feeble. So I am happy to report it is now well on it’s way. Like the cold weather, I hope. I have REALLY had a skinful of this cold. I NEED a cocktail in a coconut shell on a tropical beach now please.
Exciting news! The Rope-Haired one and I have put in an application for a Roving Traders License. This allows us to trade from the Narrow Boat, selling bunches of beautiful British blooms and willow items crafted by me and my grubby mitts. This is a great development for Floral Rebellion. It takes my products much further afield than our usual marauding spots, I love it here on the boarder of Hampshire and Wiltshire near Salisbury, but there is no waterways suitable for narrow boats locally. We will start out on the Kennet and Avon canal, and then, who knows?! Not only does it give you guys an opportunity to pop along and take a look at some of our products in real life, it also offers me another chance to meet you lovely lot. Chatting to you guys is really what it is all about, catching up with friends and making new ones. Once we are up and running I will keep you updated with details of where we are trading, and you can pop along for a natter.
Alongside that big bit of news, we do all have Mother’s Day to think about. Have you ordered your bouquet of British blooms for the important female figure in your life? There is still time… just. You can contact me directly, tell me the budget and I will do the rest, OR you can order a £25 or £35 bouquet from the fantastic West Tytherley Village Shop. If you have not been there yet, go. It’s great.
Catch up soon,
