It’s the most wonderful (busy) time of year!

Well friends. It is that time of year where it just feels time is running away with me, maybe it is all the rain water, it is just getting washed away in the deluge. It has been grim of late, dear readers.

Life here at Floral Rebellion has been juggling mostly. My learning is still going well. Really enjoying stretching my skills, developing new muscle memory and exercising the brain. I am also attending, what seems now, a vast number of Christmas fayres and markets so I am crafting away at any given moment.

To quote a dear customer, there are certainly “rumblings about wreath making workshops”. A record number this year with more and more dates being added with each day. At home parties are on the increase, and I have been approached by a number of different venues asking me to come along and make a mess of their floors! The most recent is the Bear and Ragged Staff near Romsey. I have also been approached by a venue in Salisbury, we are going into talks in January to host different workshops throughout the year in their stunning setting. I will keep you tuned on that one.

We had a blast at Alderbury Village Hall Christmas fair, near Salisbury yesterday. I was delighted to sell a basket within an hour of finishing it! I caught up with many friends and hopefully made some new ones. We do always love to have a natter wherever we go and always find interesting and interested people. It is so nice to be part of a circuit where everyone is rooting for one another, and genuinely want each other to do well.

Next up is the Kennet and Avon floating fayre. We will not be floating this time though, we will be in the beautiful Tythe Barn on the canal side at Bradford on Avon. There will be wreaths, wreath demonstrations, kits, and all the willow and hand carved wood items that would make beautiful, unusal gifts for Christmas.

Please do come along and say hi, if nothing else, it is nice to have a natter.

Steph x
