We’re Back!

We’re Back!

So folks, where did we get to? It seems ages since I was last chatting with you.

We have attended the Floating Market on the Kennet and Avon Canal. It was a long journey there and back again, but well worth the effort, despite the weather. Those of you who follow me on Instagram or Facebook would have seen just how unkind Mother Nature was to us at times! There were moments when we thought the fayre would may be sinking, not floating. Even if Mother Nature was clearly not playing along, the other floaty folk were more than welcoming and it was lovely to catch up with old friends and make some new ones too. We are looking forward to joining them again in November for the Winter Fayre, it is planned for the 25th and 26th November so make sure you get it in your diary so you can get fantastic unique, hand crafted gifts for your loved ones.

We will continue trading both on land and water right up to the end of the year. In a fit of organization (very unusual for me) I have got a number of dates booked in the diary where we will be selling flowers, willow gifts, baskets and carved wooden items for the home and garden. Our offerings will change with the seasons, and dare I mention Fresh Wreaths will be taking centre stage during the festive period.

I am a strong believer that we should continue learning as grown ups as much as we do when we are children, so if you fancy joining me at a workshop please do give me a shout. Dates for Christmas wreath making in November or December will be released soon. I have been asked on a number of different occasions for tuition with the willow too, so if you would like me to add willow workshops to the list, please let me know. All workshops are small, friendly and filled with likeminded folk, so never fear coming along and trying your hand at something new. On that note, I am going to do some learning of my own in October, I am really excited about what I am going to be adding to my skill set, as it is so connected to the flowers, and means I will be able to offer a package for my clients if they wish.

Anyway, if we are trading near you, please do pop down and see me, if nothing else, it is nice to have a natter.
