Happy (belated) New Year.
Thankfully, the first month of the year has whipped by and I am now writing to you on the eve of Imbolc, the half way point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. The point at which we are officially looking for signs of spring as things are starting to stir from their wintery slumber.
FRD and I took an extended break after the madness of Christmas. The time away allowed me to consider how Floral Rebellion is going to grow over the next year. Workshops were such a success, they are going to be developed and extended. There will be further workshops in West Dean and Winterslow, but I am also delighted to announce I have secured a space in Salisbury too.
The celebration flower bouquets were delivered across both sides of the Wiltshire/ Hampshire border, from Salisbury through to Stockbridge and to a great many of the villages in between. I have a plan moving forward, a big reveal in fact! And this development will extend the range of the Rebellion even further… but that is a few months away yet, I can’t tell you all my news at once!
For now, Valentine’s day is coming up and I have collaborated with a fabulous local designer, Meg, who is also based near Salisbury. If you have not ordered yet, please give me a shout, I have a stunning florist’s choice bouquet and a bee-utiful Valentines day card available to buy in a bundle.
