Well done Folks, we got there, we are the other side of Valentines day, March is on it's way and I actually got to feel some warmth from the sun on my skin the other day... then there was torrential rain the next!
I hope you had a happy Valentine's day. I hope you spread a little happiness and told someone you love them, because it really is a nice thing to do.
I thought it would be a good opportunity to remind you how to keep your cut stems looking beautiful for as long as possible:
Always use a very clean container.
change the water regularly, don't leave them in the same water where bacteria could grow.
Place them out of a draft, out of direct sunlight and not too warm!
Re-cut the bottom of the stems to allow the flowers to get as much water in as possible.
Remove any leaves that may be under the waterline.
remove any blooms that have gone over asap.
I hope you found that useful, and while I am feeling helpful I have printed out the Workshop Gift Vouchers that would make a really good Mother's Day Gift! Give me a call if you would like to be ahead of the game and get your present sorted for your special Mother figure.
