Hello Dear Reader,
how are you? I am worried about the summer, the lack of sunshine and the impending doom of the summer solstice. We all know what that means... the dark will be returning.
I am also consumed with my lists of things to do. And some are just a short little statement, but I know they are going to mean long hours of work, concentration, rising blood pressure and very likely tears, 'get paperwork ready for accountant' being one of them.
Some things are being crossed off the list though.
I have a new gazebo, its a hefty bugger though, and I am certain I can't get the bloody thing up on my own.
The van brakes are being worked on as we speak, I'm resisting saying "sorry about the coffins in the back" maybe best to presume he won't see them...
I have successfully completed a Fire Risk Assessment. Something that was required of me as part of my lease of The Old Dairy at Enham Trust. The lovely folk at Andover Fire and Security held my hand through that one.
I have 500 flyers for the surrounding area so that the locals have an idea I am there.... I have not delivered them to anyone yet though.
Most exciting though, I have had students at the workshop who have happily gone home with something they have made themselves out of willow. I have also had a number of event flower orders, so bespoke wedding and funeral arrangements have been crafted and left the building.
I am also collecting my goods together to go to the Summer Warminster Independant Market that is on the 28th June.
So things are happening. Any cheerleading for getting me to arrange my paperwork into some order will be gratefully recieved. Maths is not my strong point.
lots of love. xx
