Well, that’s all folks, Valentine’s is done and dusted! After our jolly out along the Kennet and Avon (that I told you about in my last instalment) willow weaving and Valentines planning was in full swing. Hearts were made from willow to be added to gift bouquets, and bunches of beautiful, seasonal British blooms were tied lovingly together to create some gorgeous offerings to celebrate the big day. The collaboration with the fantastic folk at West Tytherley Village Shop was a great success. The special delivery service I hinted at, went down a storm! If you have not caught up with who this was, visit either of us on social media and you will find some piccys.
Moving forward we have Mother’s day just around the corner. I believe Mother’s day is not just for someone who has a child, it is a time to celebrate any positive female folk in your life. I will be spinning more beautiful seasonal flowers in to gift bouquets and weaving more lovely natural gifts from British grown willow, and bouquets will be back at West Tytherley shop following the success of Valentine’s. Have you thought about what you may do to celebrate with a special lady in your life? If you fancy a workshop, give me a shout, I’m sure something can be arranged.
Take care everyone, make sure you enjoy the sunshine while you can, it has to be better that that terrible chill that we had a few weeks back!
